    Nice link Ed. I'd forgotten all about Heidoc. Also never used their Windows ISO Downloaded.exe before which looks a lot like the Microsoft ISO downloader did . Seems to work very nicely.

    Do you know if contributing spare system time improves download performance or not? What I read on their site hinted at that but I didn't see anything certain.

    Cannot answer this but on a related note, when I download isos from MS using Edge, it always maxes out at approx 4MB/s but I get 8 MB/s on Chrome.

    PS to all readers, it is not necessary to use Heidoc to download 1803.

    You can just open Edge, select developer tools, and then select emtulation tab, and set the useragent to Apple Safari (Ipad).

    Then going to the mct download site, pc thinks it is an Apple tablet and does a direct download as mct only works in windows.

    @cereberus is right: you should only use the HeiDoc.net tool if you need to download an older Windows ISO. The best source for the current Windows 10 download is always going to be the Download Windows 10 page from Microsoft.
