    Windows 10 Upgrade Stops at 45%


    I have tried to complete Windows 10 updates, from ver 1703 to ver 1709. After reboot to install the files, it stops at 45% with the message: "Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer then restart the installation". I restart the computer and it restores previous version. I tried resetting windows updates, I removed all temp files, uninstalled virus protection and ran WU Troubleshooter locally--not through the Internet. I have plenty of space and have not had any issues previous to this version. My computer is an HP ProBook 4520s. I've run chkdsk. Any additional suggestions? I'm starting to think my computer is not compatible with this upgrade.

    Mine always stops at 83% never works on the laptop.

Nvidia stops Windows 10 upgrade
in Windows Updates and Activation

I have an older HP desktop I use for the kids. Windows 10 will not load because my NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 is incompatible. Are there any work arounds or is Window 7 the best I can do on that machine?
