Hello all
I have an Acer laptop with wds 7 home and want to upgrade by using usb media .
It went trough first part after looking for updates and stuck with this :
"Making sure you are ready to install" for all night ..?
Please help .

The free upgrade is officially over. I know it was extended, unofficially and they threatened to close it Dec 31, 2017. I did one late in January but they may have been serious and closed the door.
That said, how did you create your USB media? Did you use the media creation tool?
Did you shut off secure boot and fast boot in your BIOS?

Update: 2nd time try to install by dvd image , It when trough ok .. yay ..
Activated by wds 7 key , went smoothly .. :)
