    @MikeMecanic - I've really no idea what you are on about, what your question is or how (if at all) it relates to this thread.

    @topgundcp gave the correct way to rebuild ESP for Windows. I only mentioned you could alternatively change the path the nvram holds for the default bootmanager so your EFI firmware will take this as first option. This worked for the OP (and me). Perhaps it doesn't for you - it really depends on your UEFI firmware and how well it conforms (or not) to standards. Mine is Apple which is (rather surprisingly) fairly compliant. Lenovo (on the other hand) notoriously isn't.

    Personally I use a EFI bootmanager (rEFInd) which will look on any connected disks to find any other boot managers (or boot loaders). I have rEFInd, MacOS, SysLinux and Windows in my ESP at the moment. Grub was always too complicated for me so I don't use it.

    Indeed, there are many ways. I was simply looking for an easy method to get rid of Grub and found one in this thread. Thanks!

Solved Dual Boot Option Missing in Installation and Upgrade
It was there - options for booting into Win7 or Technical Preview. The 'time to display....' is set at 30 seconds but only Win7 is showing. Any thoughts appreciated - regards.
