You press and hold the power button until it forces a hard shutdown. You must do this while windows is still booting up, as soon as you see the blue Windows logo on the black background. Don't wait for the desktop. After the third (or fourth) time it will boot to the repair options.

    Hi,
Can you post screen shots of each bios section
Make sure we can see the options on the right side of the window too
Optimize defaults would also be a good thing to try in bios first.

Boot listing to go to network is 3rd in line seems a little odd not sure why anyone would want to boot to a network but seeing your previous 10 version might ?

    Hi,
Another way to trigger safe mode.... is to unplug the device from power line
If a laptop unplug and remove the battery will reproduce a power outage.

Apparently, if you know what your doing, you can install an OS that way. I've never even contemplated trying it myself. If you reset your BIOS to defaults that will show up as a boot option. That's the only time I see it listed, most people remove it from the boot options, I do anyway.

    Hi,
I was thinking maybe optimize defaults might remove that or restore something that might be off :)
