After you finished your install did you set your BIOS Boot order back to the hard drive? You want IDE0 set as option 1.

We would basically have to be watching over your shoulder during the install, or have hands on access to that PC to really figure out what's going on.

My recommendation is to rerun the Media Creation Tool and create new install media. Use a different thumb drive if you can. You may have corrupt install media.
Do the custom install, delete all partitions and then just install to the unallocated space. Windows will then create any and all the partitions it needs automatically.
My gut instinct tells me its more than likely a hardware issue.

The thing is, you should never have to change the boot order in the Bios, most people set it to a dvd as 1st and the hard drive or ssd with the operating system on at as 2nd, and I always disable the rest.

When you want to boot from a usb stick like you are doing, you just use the one time boot menu to choose the usb stick.

But you claim you can not bring up a boot menu, which is strange. And looking at your picture it does not even show you which key to push to bring up the boot menu. (Only setup, which is the Bios)

But I know from past experience, if you set that usb stick as 1st in the boot order, in the bios, it will keep trying to boot from the usb stick over and over.

That`s why I tell people never to change the boot order when using a usb stick, just use the boot menu one time to choose the stick, and that`s it.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. Just trying to eliminate things. Setting the wrong boot order will cause a delay, its usually not an indefinite delay though?
