Yah that's all fine.. what I'm asking is what edition does the COA key show when you enter it in ShowKey's Check Product Key.
Yup. HP Envy's are business machines, Windows-Pro.
You did a fresh install 1 day after you did the initial install which you did say got activated.
Your digital license may not have reached all Microsoft activation servers.
It should eventually activate.
This particular problem is with my another Laptop Lenovo x230.
What should I do now? Should I do the followings?
1. Fresh install Windows 7 Pro and activate with COA key available inside the battery cover.
2. Windows 7 Pro should get activated successfully.
3. From Activated windows 7 Pro, upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using media creation tool.
4. Activate upgraded Windows 10 Pro with the already available COA key. It should get activated as it was done couple of days ago.
5. With the activated Windows 10 Pro, need to use the Laptop for several days so that by this time all the Microsoft activation servers got updated about it.
6. Fresh Windows 10 Pro installation (downloading iso using media creation tool).
7. Fresh Windows 10 activation. Now, my question is - will it accept the same COA key for fresh Windows 10 Pro activation?
Need your special attention on point #5 for how long should I wait for getting Microsoft activation servers updated. And point #7 for the key issue (will MS give new key for win10pro? or same COA key?).

Once activated with a digital licence for a specific edition, it is for the duration of that PC (i.e motherboard).
No need to overthink this. You have a valid digital licence for Win 10 Pro and can reinstall without the need to the Win 7 COA key.
(BTW: Where did you dig up that ShowKeyPlus relic - even I don't have that version any longer... LOL)
But it is giving error- Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 OEM
What can I do now? How can I get my Win10 activated?
Seems to relate to Windows not being able to contact MS servers - see if Windows Update works.
