    Update to Windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0x80004005


    Hi,I'm trying to update my HP Pavilion running Windows 10.It ends with:Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0x80004005I've tried everything suggested in the following article:FIX: Windows 10 Update Error 0x80004005

    Disconnect all unnecessary peripherals and disable/uninstall security solutions - basic advice.

    1) Run this version of the log collector and post a zip into this thread:
    log collector v2-beta08.zip

    2) Open the website for HP > software and drivers > https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers > enter product or serial number > select the operating system > display drivers > post a URL or hyperlink into the thread

    Which Antivirus software are you running? After the download I had the Media Creation Tool fail on me at 51% three times whilst Creating the media. I then noticed the light on my USB flash drive started to flash at the 51% point which meant it was being accessed or formatted at that point when the MCT was creating the media. At that point I wondered if it might be my security software that was causing the problem as my flash drive is brand new and Id tried three different flash drives. I was using Mcafee Internet Security. I uninstalled it and switched to Windows Defender. I tried one more time and this time it created the bootable flash drive successfully
