    window 10 upgrade to 1709


    it has become impossible to use my PC as window apps like , calculator,? browser, Cortana and new letters are added. please help.

    What version and build of Windows are you on. I saw title "upgrade to 1709"

    Windows Key + R, type winver, enter.

    Not sure what you mean new letters are added. It sounds like your install is corrupted, I'm guessing.

    Have you run sfc /scannow from command prompt(admin)

    You might try the inplace repair / upgrade process. That said without understand issue maybe you should wait.

    Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

    Please back up your data.

    Could you put a few more words around what the issue is?

    - in what way? What are the symptoms?

    Cortana, a calculator, a browser (Edge, IE) have always been part of Win 10. Granted, other apps are added in each major build.
