My some settings issue was more of an annoyance than anything else. The ones greyed out were turned off and not anything that impacts your use. Mostly displaying tips etc, if I remember correctly. The ones affected should be listed in my first post in that thread.
I can only do that once I get the new PC which should be here by Thursday or Friday. I'll just make a new thread if there are any concerns regarding the activation key.

I believe that all "MAK" are Retail.
All "MAK" have to go by the same EULA.

My Visual Studio Subscription (MSDN) MAK keys appear to be treated as Retail. They now get a Digital license. In the past though, with earlier builds or Windows 10, they didn't. They showed as Activated with a product Code. I had to enter the key every time to activate. My MSDN MAK keys aren't Volume License keys. Not like the actual Volume License Key a corporation uses via KMS. My understanding is that MAK keys are special keys given to MSDN subscribers for Editions of Windows that would normally only ever be VL KMS activated. Enterprise for example. It's so you can test without using up one of your KMS licenses. Or for people like me that have no way to setup a KMS server, and or have no interest in setting it up just for use on one or two PC's. Confused? I am, lol.
Just quickly stopping by here to confirm that I do have a retail key. I have finally got the new PC and installed W10 on it. Currently downloading 3 GB of updates.
There are also no issues in activating it, just as if it's a regular one.
