When trying the Winkey + P route it maybe worth activating first the Narrator tool as someone suggested in another thread using Windows key + spacebar, just to check are in the right menu and it reads out Select Screen 2. May have to get past a password box first which Narrator may clarify although I set my Win 7 not to have a password to avoid that possibility before upgrading.
I was in wrong menu somehow, but when Narrator confirmed I was in the Video menu and selected Screen 2 the display sprung to life on an HP TM2 1010EA which has HDMI out. Although Windows 10 seemed to have swapped the outputs, the HDMI screen itself did not show anything.
After got Win 10 working, went into Control Panel via Windows key plus X to disable the ATI Radeon 4550 driver to force it to use the generic Intel driver on board. Reboot since have been fine.
