    Testing 10240 Installer: Rufus 2.2.668

Just made a clean install of the 10240 release. Built the ISO image using Rufus 2.2. The installer sequence was perfect: No error to report, less then 15 minutes installation with a Lexmark bootable flash drive.

The following Product Key for the Pro Version is not working :
    VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

Took the x64 ISO file on the Microsoft website. Set the following default apps offline (Unactivated):

Norton Security Beta: Delete 10 cookies and a PUA file during installation of µTorrent and Thunderbird
    Opera 30
    VLC Media Player
    Winamp
    Thunderbird
    µTorrent

Running a fully stable machine using these apps since 10130. The 10240 Installer is the best one so far: Didn't have the Settings Page problems (stable).

How can I activate this release?

    Hello Mike,

You can't legally activate until the 29th. Microsoft as blocked clean installations of insider builds from being activated for now since they want to test upgrade installations for the RTM.

After all I ended up creating my own ISOs...

    x64: 3,73 GB (US-EN)
    x86: 2,71 GB (PT-BR)

It's under 10240 that I went the deepest in advance settings (turn all switch's off to do so): I removed in the Win Ten architecture more then 40 sub-systems and was never able (ever) to reach mid-point. The point where the Operating System enter unstable issues: Generating errors and fatal errors. There are lost of things to learn from the deepness of a fatal error pop-up.

The heart of Win Ten architecture seems to be unwavering: Was still into a stable desktop environment. I'm done with that portion of testing. I don't think you got that one?

Under Linux, I reach mid-point between 20-30 sub systems and I disable apport to do so.

    What's the next build?

This is the best release that I've been running since I came in. Quite, stable and efficient. It turn my machine into a better one and it overwrite the best Operating System Microsoft ever built: Windows Se7en.
    All the best,
