Let`s get that 2nd partition created or at least show me the unallocated space on Disk 0 with Partition Wizard, we will take it 1 step at a time.

And yes, unplug all other hard drives while we do this. Just the power cable.

Partition created - will remove the internal DATA drive tomorrow and send the DM jpeg - but that puts me out of business while I do the clean install.

After you get that done, post a new shot of Disk Management.

And you mentioned transferring Apps, you can`t transfer apps, programs, etc. You will have to reinstall them.
I know I'll have to reinstall them - but I have no choice at this point. I just hope I can get up and running soon. I'll install the most important apps first - then will have to switch back to the old install to do my work (temporarily).

OK, here's the DM jpeg. AddRAM, FYI: I have removed the second drive before.

OK, now disconnect Disk 1,2,3 and do your clean install to the unallocated space.

Post a shot of DM when you`re done.

And you`ll have no problem removing the old install when you`re ready, because your System Reserved partition is marked Active and contains the system files.

But you should remove the letter from it.

Your Data drive (D) is marked Active, it should not be, we`ll fix that later.

OK, we`re gonna start over, because the installer created an extended partition and installed W10 on a Logical drive.

I personally would not leave it like that. Others may think it`s fine. And please speak up.

Go into your old install and use Partition Wizard to delete F back to unallocated space and create a Primary partition, then re install Windows 10.

You should then have 4 Primary partitions and there should be dark blue all the way across the top of Disk 0.

I'll do as you recommend - but tomorrow I spend with my wife so I won't be able to get it done until tomorrow night or the day after. Thanks!

There is nothing wrong with it being in a logical drive in an extended partition. But there is a much easier way to change it, if desired to do so. Install MiniTool Partition Wizard and just convert the partition to primary.

    Thanks for the support Navy

I don`t dabble with Logical partitions, If he kept it that way, would there be any issues when he deletes the old install ?

No. There would only be an issue if the boot files were on the same partition as the old Windows (which they are not), and that would be a problem whether the new Windows installation was on a logical drive or a primary partition.
