"Start upgrade" appeared in Windows Store on Windows 10 Home?

    Hello,

I'm hoping to get a straight-forward understandable answer. My question's about upgrading editions and about the Windows Store.

My scenario is that I own two Windows 10 OS devices, one is Home Edition and the other is Pro. My Home Edition laptop had a price tag on the Windows Store with the upgrade of £99.99, but recently it changed to "Start upgrade". I am unsure if it is related to the fact that my Windows 10 Pro laptop that was eligible for the free upgrade and it is now tied to my MS account, or it did something else to trigger it. I could do with some help here, please and I'll be grateful for assistance.

May be a stupid Question but have you tried to see what happens if you press to start upgrade.

I took the plunge and gambled on whether it'd activate after reconfiguring and adding features. It activated and its a permanent activation. I wonder what happened here, as I never purchased Windows 10 Pro or anything. I have entitlement/digital license on the ThinkPad but on the Asus it ran Windows 10 Home before. And the Asus still has its branding.

I don't understand how it all happened though. Initially saying the price then after several days later it says "Start upgrade", is it account-related?
