Running it from your desktop it will only allow an install of your existing version. You need the iso on bootable media (or run the MCT again and make USB media. See option one: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html). Boot from this and you should be offered Home or Pro.

Did you just copy the iso file to the USB flash drive, or did you burn the USB flash drive from the image contained in the ISO file? You should have burned the image contained in the ISO file to the USB flash drive. Then you probably need to go into the computer's UEFI or BIOS and set it to boot from the USB flash drive first and boot the computer from the USB flash drive.

You have to boot the computer from the USB flash drive. You will have to probably read the manual for your laptop to find out how to do that. If you tell us the exact make/model of the laptop, we might be able to look it up for you and tell you how to do it. When you first turn the computer on there will be a key to press - it could be DEL, INS, any of the F keys. Pressing that key right when you turn the computer on will bring up a menu of devices to boot from. If the USB flash drive is inserted when you do that, it should be among the devices listed to boot from.
