A couple of weeks ago I installed the Fall Creator Update.All installed well,but when I booted up all my Start Menu items were missing,also my about half my Desktop Icons had gone.so I reverted back to build 1703. have Microsoft sorted these things out,i am a bit unsure if I want to try the update again.Thanks.Workington

I've upgraded multiple versions of Windows and everything has been good for me so far.
I have upgraded for 1703 to 1709 without any problem.

Masterchiefxx17 thank you,i downloaded and installed the update this morning.the only thing I can see different is when I used to sign into web sites build 1703 used to ask if I wanted windows to remember the password,in this build it does not ask,everything else seems to be working okay.Cheers Workington
Masterchiefxx17 and AddRAM i am using Edge.it always remembered passwords before the Creator Update.i might give Chrome a go,its a bit of a pain to keep putting passwords in,Cheers workington
Install Chrome and add a theme, I just use black. You`ll never use another browser again :)
But check Edges settings, maybe the update set it back to defaults. I wouldn't know, I don't use it or Internet Explorer, too ugly looking for my taste.
