Is Windows 10 OEM allowed for system builders?

    What I am sure however, is that doing this with Win 8 OEM is totally legit. I've made my decision, Win 8 OEM it is. Cheapest way to get Win 10.
    1. Your not using it. Your testing it.
    2. The MS police is not going to knock down your door and arrest you.
    3. If your that concerned go with the full version and get a good night sleep.

    the big difference between OEM and Retail software is
    You are allowed to transfer Retail Software to a New PC - OEM software is permanently tied to the PC for which is it first activated...
    So in the case of transfer (say mobo goes bad) Retail software is preferred...
