Restoring rights for the Recovery partition?

    HI.

I changed the ownership and rights of the recovery partition (Recovery/WindowsRE/*Wim) and after that a pc reset to defaults of my Asus T100chi tablet/laptop failed twice. Now my tablet wont even boot past the Asus splash screen at boot. My question is how I can change back the ownership and rights of Recovery/WindowsRE in the recovery partition of my laptop, back to trustedintaller I believe, through DOS?
I can still get to DOS command prompt and other repair options through a special menu at startup of this device. Such options are use image to repair, self repair, use restore points (none worked btw).
Just as experiment, I want to get rid of win10 alltogether after this.

So just because I changed ownership of the Recovery dir Windows cannot will not reinstall from the image present on the recovery partition it seems. Eyebrows are raised.

Ok first thing to do is to export your drivers to a usb stick as tablets often use special drivers not in standard ms iso, and reset may not be possible.

How to backup drivers in Windows 10 using DISM

Then it is probably easiest to do a clean install (backup data first). You would need to attach a usb keyboard , mouse and usb installation stick, so would need a usb hub and maybe otg cable. Make sure tablet is fully charged as not all tablets with a single usb port allow charging at same time as data transfer.
