I've got it going now. It says its "Getting ready".

Whats your plan if you obtain a successful download?
I will probably play around with it, get to know it, and report any feedback I have to Microsoft.
I take it you're letting it install over top of your current OS then?
I've got it in a virtual machine right now. We will see about that as soon as I feel assured it will be okay.
    Right. Okay, sorry.
Personally, I don't see much of a difference in it than 8 besides the Start Menu and Cortana.

Okay. I just updated it. Seems kind of buggy, but I guess that's expected on a preview build. Simply, because its an unfinished version.

I told ya, it`s nothing special.

I`m glad you got it installed.

So there were no issues on the desktop ?

Now you can use that iso to burn a dvd. That is, if the desktop has a dvd burner drive.

You have to delete all your personal messages, it says you`re full and cant accept anymore.

Glad to see that you took the Win10 plunge.
I found a Hyper-V workable, but a bit slow. Play with Win10 on the VM and report bugs (there will be many in a Preview release).

A big and hearty thanks go out to all the members who helped get Jesse to the finish line.

Enjoy your new toy! I love mine.

No, there were no issues on the desktop. I downloaded with Internet Explorer. I think the issue was Google Chrome. For some reason, it didn't want to download the software right. I have made an ISO image, and I am about to put it on my Laptop until the full version of 10 comes out. I will empty my messages now. I have been a little busy today. Had to go to town.

Did you use the software I suggested ?

What program did you use to burn the iso to dvd.

Did you run it at x4 speed ?

I don`t think it was Chrome that gave you issues on the laptop, I think it`s because you used a wireless connection, if you were plugged in I doubt if the iso would have been corrupted.

I use Chrome for everything :)

I just copied the ISO file to a blank DVD-R disk.
