Windows 10 won't install properly
So I have tried 6+ times. A minimum of 6 it could be more. the first time the install took a whole 24 hours. It worked fine for a bit and then it froze so I reset it and then I get a screen that says sorry cannot start or something similar. It resets a few times and then goes into troubleshooting. Troubleshooting tells me I can't refresh because my hard drive is locked. I install windows 7 again. I try again 2 days later. it installs in less than an hour. it works fine for a while then freezes. it resets a few times and then goes into troubleshooting. Troubleshooting tells me I can't refresh because my hard drive is locked again. This time I try creating a windows 10 boot media and ding a clean install. I don't know how many times I did a clean install. At LEAST 4 times I tried. It kept getting stuck on "just a moment". Each time I left it for 2 or more hours. I then did a refresh and told it to keep nothing. It proceeded to do the same thing over and over. I am back to 7. 7 works fine. I am actually planning on staying with 7 for now. I just wanted to put this out there so everyone would know and someone might find a solution before the next time I try to "upgrade" to windows 10.
A note: both of the first 2 times I updated from windows update. I have not yet tried the "upgrade this PC" option in the media creation tool
