No, you said you put MediaCreationTool on the USB.
If you ran the MCT and had it write the Windows 10 data to the flash drive then you're done, nothing else needs to be done. You can use it whenever you want to reinstall Windows 10 on the system you have upgraded.I have downloaded Media Creation tool to my USB Flash Drive. What do I do next?
Ok, I got confused. Please walk me through!
I already have Windows 10 Installed, but i the case I have to do reinstall I want to have a copy of Windows 10.
Now, I have downloaded Media Creation tool and placed it on the USB flash-drive. In order for me to have a COPY of windows 10, which I will not install (just to have a copy), what Do I do next with the Media Creation tool?
Please walk me through , so I can have Windows 10 handy,if I have to reinstall.
I already did, in post #2: Media Creation Tool is on my USB Flash Drive, what do to next? - Windows 10 Forums
Please I need more clarification--
So, you have Run MCT from your Hard Drive. I understand that when you click RUN MCT start downloading Windows 10. Did you download windows 10 to your Hard drive and then copypasted it to a Flash Drive? When it has completely downloaded, how did you prevent it from installing it?
Thanks so Much Genet! So, later on I can still use it for my PC? Do I need to Create ISO?
Creating Installation for another PC that the choice to create media to store Windows 10. I was confused because I couldn't understand "Updating PC now" vs" creating installation for another PC" would download and install. I wanted just download. So, after the download finishes, I am done or do I have to do ISO?
