    Radeon 4350 suddenly can't go above 1200dpi

The video card that came with my Dell Vostro 430 worked fine through Win 7/8 and, until recently, 10. About a week ago the display suddenly looked stretched. I'm guessing there was a driver change, and there's no ATI/AMD Win 10 driver any longer, at least not a 64-bit one. I cannot select horizontal resolution higher than 1200dpi or so, which is less than the 1600dpi I was using before (native for my HP monitor).

Not sure why this would have happened, but I'm thinking the best solution is to upgrade to something like a Geoforce 750 TI, which at least seems to have Win10 drivers available.

Is Win10 all 64-bit or something now?

Recent upgrade may have changed your original driver for the display adapter to one signed by Microsoft. Look in the device manager and see if your driver is still signed by AMD. You can re-install the older driver using Compatibiliy for Windows 8,

So, do you download the Win8 version of the driver and install it? How do you tell Win10 to accept this version of the driver and install it?

When you use the locate driver on my machine option, you will be presented with some options when your machine sees its not the latest driver. Use settings for Windows 8. Right click on the file once you download it and go in the properties, then you can select mode.
