Assuming you run at the native resolution that you have listed 1600 x 900, then the fps would be less as the Graphics Card has to work harder with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

    Nothing to do with lag.

Oh ok, well maybe will purchase a newer one for Christmas, I know the FPS will end up being less, unless I just wait til I get the newer 1060 or 1070 card then get the new monitor at that time, but guess will see at this point

Opt for the 1070......you will be better off. Take it from one who knows....I have the 1060 and should have gotten the 1070. It will make all the difference with the new monitor.

For my setup....2 monitors w/1600x900 rez, the 1060 does just fine.

Ok continues saving for the 1070, my upgraded Power supply to support it and the new monitor lol, (thinks will be a bit after all now lol to afford it all, but will be worth it in the end)

Christmas will get the upgraded Power supply think, then find a 1070 that isn't so expensive that won't be able to swing lol, and then new monitor I think how it will work out now.

You'll be surprised at the power efficiencies of the 10xx series. Minimum for the 1070 is 500 watts.

Depending what else you have, a 500 watt psu might be all you need.

Then you might want to consider some what of an overhaul on that prebuilt PC. I like the brand as they usually use quality hardware. What I can't find is what mobo your prebuilt system uses.

yeah not sure what the motherboard is, but a little at a time in upgrades, and it will be perfect for my needs, already is better than my old Asus M32BC system with AMD FX 8310, so I can be patient and save more, and upgrade it a little at a time

I know Chipset identifies in HWinfo as Intel 1110M
