When a clean install is performed Windows will install some non-Microsoft drivers.
Hardware will not function properly or will be disabled if there are no software and drivers.
So if you don't want reminders to pop up or if you don't want to use the hardware you can uninstall the software and drivers.
Windows by default over time will attempt to update some non-Microsoft drivers.
This feature can be turned off.
There is software such as Display Driver Uninstaller that we regularly use to uninstall misbehaving graphics drivers and this is another option.
At this time perform the following steps to stop using Nvidia:
    1) control panel > uninstall the 2 Nvidia entries > reboot
    2) view device manager > right click on the nvidia > left click disable or uninstall device > reboot
    3) View the control panel to confirm that there are no longer any Nvidia entries.
    4) View device manager > nvidia if still present > perform windows updates > view result > report into thread

zBook- that went almost perfectly 1) uninstalled 2 programs, did reboot. programs have disappeared 2) went to device manger, unistalled NVidia driver, did reboot, whoops driver came back. uninstalled again.2B) ran CCleaner on registry, removed several lines pertaining to NVidia entries 2C) did reboot 3) all NVidia drivers/programs gone. 4) all same after windows update 5) checked with Task Manager: all processes seem to be gone, one service (NVidia Device Driver Service) still remains, but it was one of the stopped services before this, the other 3 are gone. I'll remove the last one.

    Excellent work zBook, I appreciate.
    Happy Trails,

    Great.
If there are any future problems with Nvidia there are two additional options:
