nvidia drivers installation fail on windows 10

    hi everyone,
i have a problem with driver of video card nvidia. I wanted reinstall the driver because geforce experience didn't work.
Before i used DDU. After i tried to install the driver without success.
To understand the problem I used this guide.

How to enable NVIDIA Graphics Driver and GeForce Experience installer logging | NVIDIA

in the file setupapi.dev(in attachment) there is:

! inf: Unable to load INF: 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvami.inf_amd64_bdb672bcf02c0cf0\nvami.inf'(00000005 )
! inf: Error 5: Access is denied.
!!! inf: Could not load INF 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvami.inf_amd64_bdb672bcf02c0cf0\nvami.inf'.
!!! inf: Error 5: Access is denied.
    <<< Section end 2017/11/13 21:55:42.720
    <<< [Exit status: FAILURE(0xe0000203)]

i thought that it was a problem with permission of folder FileRepository, so i setup the control complete for "everyone" and for "system" but the problem there is yet.

I tried to install the drive from device manager without success.

    This is my components:
    Asus FX753VD-GC193T Notebook
    nVidia GeForce GTX 1050
    windows 10

    Hi and Welcome!

Was DDU able to fully uninstall the existing Nvidia driver?

An access denied prompt makes me believe that the driver installation executable was not ran with administrator privileges. Download the latest Nvidia driver for your graphics card and right click the executable and select Run as Administrator.

Already done. The problem is not resolved.

    Hello Arazon!

    Please try this:
    Download DDU
    Extract DDU
    Download these DRIVERS 385.69
Hold [SHIFT] and click on RESTART Windows.you will end up in Safe mode Cannot use PIN, must use Account password to enter SAFE MODE
    Run DDU:
    Select: NVIDIA software and Drivers
    Select: Clean and Restart

    Run DOWNLOAD package (DRIVERS)
Select: CUSTOM Uncheck EVERYTHING excpet the GPU Driver,PHYSX and GFE .Check the CLEAN INSTALL box
    Finish install
    Reboot

    Hi,
Not sure you want to do that on a notebook
These NVidia drivers might be best to come through the computer manufactures website seeing they are intertwined with your onboard chipset driver too.
385.69 is a better driver but should be confirmed through the oem website as the current version for your notebook.

Return Laptop to bought condition with the recovery partition.

Only get driver updates from the Laptop/Notebook manufacturer or Windows Updates.

    Don't use uninstallers like DDU.

Laptops/Notebooks always have a degree of customisation and other uninstallers may mess with hooks in to the Windows system.

Why it does a better job than just using a The Clean Install. I get all of my Drivers from Nvidia. I always have without issues. I do this on a PC though and not on a Laptop....
