It was grayed out for me too joca, so I chose Update Driver and as suggested by Algolei, "Browse my computer for driver software", "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer".
I then chose the one from January 2013 and everything has been fine since.
I searched but it said non was found, where did you search?

It's just giving Documents as an option. Click the lower button and it will fing your drivers wherever they are stored.

I had same issue, with ATI RADEON 3870, after removing all with AMD tool, then allowing it to upgrade to the Microsoft Generic, then update, find drivers "in computer" there appeared and AMD folder that I suppose was fetched in the update driver.. I updated to the file in that folder

    AMD-14.41RC1-Win8.1-64Bit-OpenCL2-Sep19

    and now it works fine.

I think it was graphics card related. Somebody didn't check the update was OK with them all.

    This fix worked for me!

Monitor Resolution Problem after Microsoft Upgrade.
Problem: Resolution won’t restore to 1920 x 1080 or higher. This may sometimes happen after Microsoft does an Update to Windows.
    Fix:
    Go to Device Manager:

    Expand Display adapters:
No 1920x1080 resolution while using Windows 10-image.png

Open the ATI Radeon HD 3450 and click “Uninstall Device”

No 1920x1080 resolution while using Windows 10-image.png

Check off “Delete the driver software for this device.” And then click “Uninstall”.
Now, with the monitor still on, shut down the computer. Restart the computer and the computer/Windows will recognize the monitor and install the appropriate driver.
Full screen resolution should now be available.

I finally found a solution. In Device Manager, Display adapters, ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series, I chose "Update Driver Software" and then "Browse my computer for driver software". I then chose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer". In the list were several instances of a driver dated 7/15/2015 (which didn't work and is probably what caused the problem). The next oldest driver "ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series Version: 8.970.100.9001" was dated 1/13/2015. Choosing the January driver restored everything to normal. Apparently, sometime this morning, windows decided to update my video card driver and this caused the problem. The current driver (7/15/2015) doesn't work properly; whether that's a Microsoft issue or an AMD issue is unknown to me.
Thanks, this worked for me too. Don't know what's going with Window right now
