    Is there a reason you had to do a factory reset?
    Your computer E5-575G-53VG | Laptops - Tech Specs & Reviews - Acer original graphics configuration is
    NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution ComfyView
    --- Disable your Intel 540 & see what happens.
    --- If it's possible disable the NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX and enable the Intel 540 and see what happens.
    --- It appears to me that the computer did not originally include the Intel 540 and there might be a conflict between them.

    @ MeAndMyComputer, a lot of laptops these days have dual "switchable" graphics. For example, on battery to save power it will run on the Intel graphics. Plugged into the Power pack it switches to the dedicated NVidia Graphics. With the proper drivers installed it all happens in the background. Most of the time you don't even notice it switching from one to the other. The trick is to get the correct drivers, especially if you have miss matched graphics like Intel and NVidia. Installing two separate drivers usually ends up with things not working the way they should. That all being said, the factory driver, that you would get if you did the factory reset should work fine. Why it didn't in this case I have no idea.

    @MeAndMyConputer

    The exact model of my laptop is Acer E5-575G-54MF.

    About your advice, when i disable the Intel graphics, the choices in Windows Display Resolution is disabled (no choices at all).

    The only choices in NVIDIA Control Panel is 3D Setting, and under that is "Adjust image settings with preview" "Mangae 3D settings" "Set PhysX Configuration.

    Hey Popeng,
    1. Long shot, but in Device Manager > Monitors do you have more than just the Generic Pnp Monitor.
    2. Have you checked the Intel Control Panel, just to see what it's set at or if you can change resolution there.
    3. You could use DDU to completely uninstall the Intel & Nvidia drivers and let windows install the drivers it wants. Official Display Driver Uninstaller DDU Download

    I would say the missing options is part of the issue. If it was me, I'd backup any files you don't want to lose, and do another factory restore. Then have another look at things. Don't install any drivers manually until you have a good look around and see what's what.
