Critical Process Died ....RadeonSettings.exe
Hi,
First of all I am using an HP 23-g017c All-In-One computer running Win10 Home, 64-bit, Version 1607, Build 14393.969.
This morning about five minutes after booting up I got a Blue Screen saying: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you." It then showed the error report finished at 100%. However, after 15 minutes the computer didn't restart so I shut it down manually and then rebooted it.
I then checked my Event Viewer and discovered at the time of the Blue Screen this 'Critical' entry was logged:

So I then searched for AMD Settings on my computer and it showed it as a 'Desktop Application'. I clicked on that link and the following screen came up: "No AMD Graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware."
I than looked in Device Manager and under Display Adapters I found: AMD Radeon HD 8400.
Also while in Device Managers listed under Processors I discovered: AMD A-6 5200 APU with Radeon (TM) HD Graphics (This entry was listed four times under Processors)
I ran a "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" before submitting this thread and it showed no corruption present.
Late last year I had to do a complete reinstall of my Windows because of corrupted files not allowing me to use Windows Update and I am curious if this could be related to my problem. Any ideas what could have caused this Blue screen and how to stop it from reappearing in the future would be appreciated? It makes my arm pits sweat .... especially with the Creator's update on the horizon.
Thanks and regards,
