I dont have access to older drivers, where can I get reliable older drivers? Since it happened with both cards I believe that it is something else too. I'll have check the temperatures and install a thermal monitor. Right now Mom is testing it out by playing her facebook games. What gets me is that it's simple facebook games, not an advanced game like say...fallout or champions online. Maybe I need to look at a stress testing software, what would you suggest?

Edit: the pc still crashes. It just blacked out, leaving only the pointer, which is movable but the rest of the screen is black.

If you go to the NVidia site and click the "Beta and older drivers" link it takes you here, NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

I know it's been a while since I posted, but I finally figured it out and it wasn't even related to the video card. It was the ram sticks. Somehow one of them lost the little seating tab and I either didn't notice it when I moved her 2 1 gig cards over to the secondary ones to upgrade her to a total of 10 gig or it fell off. I could not find it in the case so I suspect the firstr. Anyhow, mom failed a mem test and I started pulling ram out. To our surpise it solved all of her issues. So, for those googlers out there, check the ram if you go through two cards. :P
