Wonder if I could find a helpful soul to guide me.
I have my sister's HP Pavilion dv6 Laptop win 10 1511here and I think it has video dvr probs. I can see some fuzzy print and it has a 76 sec black screen delay getting started and waking from sleep.

It has both AMD Radeon 6600M & 6700M and AMD Radeon HD 6520G display hardware. The former has ver 15.201.1151.1008 dvr and the latter, ver 15.201.1151.0 dvr.

Win 10 says it has the latest drivers installed.

Are these correct for this Laptop and could they be the problem with the 75 sec delay?

Wow, all working now! Just happened to see a "WU-CCC2" folder in C: drive and its contents were dated yesterday. So I ran the ccc2 install and that has fixed the big black screen delays completely!! Yea!! Display dvrs are the same as before.

Don't care how it happened, just pleased that that really bad and tricky one is solved.

On the laptop/AMD AGU issue, it should be noted NOT to use the newest drivers. According to their site, you should update the driver from Device Manager itself. Works and updates fine. The Radeon Crimson download wasn't very useful for me. The only benefit I got from was the gaming stuff for WoW.

NOTA BENE: Check carefully what drivers you DO load. There are extra ones that may mess your system up. I got a bang on the AMD High Definition Audio Device. SO watch yourselves friends.

Thanks for the input. This lappie will only be updated by win 10. Hope that is OK.

So, it has win dvrs and that wonderful cc2 update. Sometimes I get lucky!

Care to explain how AMD HD Audio messed your system up? It's function is to feed audio through an HDMI connection, that's pretty much it.
