ok graphics dummy here so i need to ask.....(learning curve AMD A6-9220 RADEON R4, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G 2.50 GHz)
i have no idea if really need this or not, i do not game but i do like the pretty interface, if it enhances my viewing experience, videos, images etc etc thats a good thing except i have no idea how to use it or set it or it just does what it has to do for basic users such as myself.
i do know that after my last clean install my screen brightness was woeful until i installed this "software" so i assume its a required driver for the graphics...
my system:
Processor is an APU (graphics integrated with CPU) so for drivers look at https://www.amd.com/en/support for
"Processors with graphics"
Every single part of a PC needs a driver, it's only a question of matching OS and driver. If there was no graphic driver in Windows you wouldn't see anything on the screen so they are integrated in windows from the beginning. Only "problem" with drivers built in Windows is that they are mostly basic, just enough for part to work, without much of options for settings and frequently out of date. If you want latest and "greatest" drivers and settings software, right place for them is part's manufacturer.
AMD develops SW called Adrenalin from which you can adjust many aspects and even overclock. Nvidia also has own SW.
