What is the best way to update Adrenalin software and drivers? My laptop has Adrenalin software version 20.2.2. Do I have to uninstall the old Adrenalin drivers and software before updating?

I keep getting notifications that an AMD Radeon software update is available. When I click on the notification it opens the AMD Radeon software, but there is no update button. Does that mean that I need to update manually?

You can download them from from Dell or here, https://www.amd.com/en/support use autodetect or proper driver from the list.

I am going to get the drivers from the AMD site. Is it necessary to uninstall the old drivers first or can I just run the update software?

My Radeon software looks similar to yours, but it doesn’t have the driver update section. It starts with the snap settings. I wonder if it is an HP version of the Radeon software. Is anybody else missing the driver update section or know why it would be missing from my software? I'm thinking I may hold off updating until I find out why it is missing.

In OEM computers (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.), the best policy is to stick to the drivers supplied by the OEM. This is also the recommendation of AMD. Otherwise, you can run into problems.

From FAQ - Radeon™ Software Support for AMD Ryzen™ Processors with Radeon™ Graphics:

OEMs generally support their systems with the OEM-provided software as they have fully qualified and validated those drivers on their platforms. OEM technical support for the system may require the end user revert to the OEM-provided drivers to obtain OEM support. Additionally, should the OEM choose to implement system-specific features or optimizations, these may not function with the installation of the AMD.com driver postings. It is recommended that consumers use drivers for their systems through OEM support sites or Windows Update unless they are experiencing issues addressed in updates available through AMD.com driver postings.
