I'm currently using 18.2.1 on Windows 7 and everything is fine.

I checked my laptop's drivers on the manufacturer website and it looks like nothing has changed because they still only have V15.201.1101.0 for the VGA.

Guess I'll be using drivers from AMD's website again.

Yes, they tend to cover much broader range of GPUs unlike those from GPU brand name sites.

Anyone knows if this driver is 1803/WDM 2.4 compliant? I want to upgrade to 1803 (when the bugs are fixed), but I wanna be sure I have a good driver for it.

    Thanks!

I have an ASUS laptop with an AMD APU setup consisting of "AMD Radeon® HD 6650M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM Built-in A4-3300M" and "AMD Radeon® HD 6720G2 1GB DDR3 VRAM Built-in A6-3400M". My Windows 10 version is 1803. The driver versions are 15.201.1151.1008 for the HD 6650 and 15.201.1151.0 for the 6720. Catalyst Control Center version is 2015.0821.2209.38003.

This is all from 2015. Windows Update is not giving me any newer drivers and the driver packet AMD is automatically providing does not work (setup cannot identify my graphics solution). I did read that APUs are no longer supported under Windows 10 with the new drivers, but are the drivers I'm on actually the latest I could be on?

I'm asking specifically because the laptop still suffers from long boot and wake times with black screens due to a power saving feature (Ultra Low Power State) that disables the dedicated graphics processor. I have to manually disable this feature in the registry, which negatively impacts power saving efficiency.

    Thanks!

Older ones are basically sent to legacy bracket. Check at AMD drivers site Download Drivers
and look for drivers manually making sure that you search for adequate type of GPU, ei. Notebook, APU etc. Generally, drivers for legacy GPUs are not updated any more but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't work.
