I have not noticed that, I was just googling, why the same version was re-released.
When downloaded, it actually says so.
"whql-radeon-software-crimson-relive-17.9.3-win10-64bit-oct2.exe"
AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.9.3 WHQL Drivers | TechPowerUpAMD today released the WHQL version of their latest game-ready drivers. The Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.9.3 WHQL drivers bring the same change-log, with fixes, performance improvements, and known issues, as their latest Beta release of the same driver package. However, for those who don't want to use Beta-state software on their computers, AMD has now released a properly-signed WHQL driver. As always, you can grab your drivers right here on TPU. Just follow the link below.
Ah, ok. I guess AMD just hasn't updated their site yet. I'll update the first post now though.
I'm staying with v17.7 for now both on W7 and W10. Some older games have problems on W7 with anything newer.

"GPU Scaling may fail to work on some DirectX 11 Applications."
It fails to work on ALL games that I play on! Regardless of what Direct3D level it can support.
Meh... I'm stuck on 17.7.2... But looking at the comments, seems I'm not loosing anything XD.
Just updated the PCI Bus device in device manager, though, seems catalyst instalations never update it by default, currently using Windows Update version, because is the same the catalyst software has...
- when it comes to drivers, it's not always a case of "latest is best"..
- whatever best suits your hardware set-up, is a better way to look at it..
- if it ain't broke, don't fix it..
Windows Update has just offered me 23.20.780.3 (11-Oct-17).
I have noticed GPU Workload in Settings (Graphics and Compute).
Third party CAB download, if you want to test it, it is digitally signed.
EDIT: I have failed to boot twice already, black and green screen, so I guess this one is not so reliable.
