    - there's a 17.8.1 beta6 driver available for the new AMD Vega range of cards..
    - I've had it installed and running for a few days now on the 480's, and - so far, no problems..

    - if you're feeling adventurous, you may want to give it a try out,
    - but read the Guru3D forum replies before you take the leap:

Did they fix the GPU Scaling in the latest drivers? It doesn't work on CS:GO, GTA IV and San Andreas.

I'm using 17.1.1 on my laptop

    - GPU scaling is still listed as a "Known Issue"
    - but only on some DX11 apps..

since upgrading to latest AMD driver, I am having issues with MS Office Word and OneNote. There are some thin white lines running horizontally down my Word documents, that obscure parts of the glyphs of the text. In OneNote, there is at least part of a grid of large black rectangles imposed over screenshots I take and save to OneNote.

My first reaction was to repair MS Office, but that changed nothing. I also saw some goofs (little black lines with tiny green dots inside them) in the display of certain web pages, including Wikipedia pages, which is why I think it is probably the new graphics driver - it is not just one set of applications giving me trouble.

These display issues don't actually make anything less functional, they just look odd.
