The v16.8.3 file name starts non-whql so its not for me. I keep saying the first post has the wrong title since many of the drivers posted here are not WHQL drivers.
I dont pretend to understand but yes you're right about it stating what you said

It has been said before and it will be said again, WHQL means nothing. All it means is that the hardware vendor submitted driver logs to Microsoft, and Microsoft then approved it which it can then be made available through Windows Update. WHQL in no way means that Microsoft themselves tested the driver.

    - the 16.8.3 Hotfix started giving me some problems..
    - not sure why, but the mouse started acting up, like dragging the cursor through treacle..

    - did a complete removal of all drivers and installed the driver from the manufacturer's disk provided with the cards
    - that worked OK..

    - now I have the 16.8.2 version which appears to run OK, though Fallout4 has probs with crossfire..
    - it seems to suffer a memory overload, and grinds to a halt after about an hour..
    - the game runs perfectly fine on a single card..

    - Apparently Bethesda have a patch in the offing, so there may be improvements from that side..

    - gonna give this 16.8.3 another bash, to see if it was just a problem with the initial installation..

It means a lot, it's difference between getting the driver installed smoothly or have it installed by turning off Driver Signature every time when reboot.
    Especially with x64 systems.
