I just updated to the latest 16.6.1 Hotfix driver and I now get several Event ID 16388 ATI EEU Client Events at boot. It also takes a few more seconds for the login screen to appear. I note the lat Hotfix is not WHQL certified.

I've gone back to the previous WHQL version 16.1 I was using and now have no problems.

What's the latest WHQL AMD driver and where do you find the previous WHQL driver versions? What's the best latest "bug free" driver to use.

I note that different variants of the AMD driver are now downloaded for Windows 8.1 and 10. I'll be updating from Windows 8.1 to to Windows 10 soon. Which is the best AMD driver to install before I upgrade?

on my rig, the 14366 preview came with it's own built-in AMD driver
ran beautifully, straight from the initial install, no probs..
..then I updated the driver from within the Crimson Interface, to the non-WHQL beta..
    - and that installed fine..

    - there weren't any warning messages from MS, though I was asked if it was OK to let the install proceed..
    - really neat!! :)

I am a couple of decades long user of Nvidia graphics cards. With my new PC build I decided this time to go with a AMD Radeon card, I figured the machine has a AMD CPU so keep it in the family. Installed a Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 380 which is loaded with Crimson Edition 16.3.2. Love the AMD True Audio, however coming from Nvidia to me the UI is taking some getting used too. What I need help in is with scaling. This setup is at my hamradio operating station I have a 21" LG monitor on the desktop connected via DVI-D, above it on the wall I have a 47" LG HDTV which is connected via HDMI through my Onkyo AVR. The problem I have is when I slide the screens up and down between the monitors they do not automatically adjust their size to the screen like my Nvidia cards did. It gets very old to have to physically adjust the pages to fit each monitor. There must be a setting for this but what that might be is not clear in any of the setups, and what I have tried just does not work. I see GPU scaling, and scaling mode but what I want doesn't seem to be there. Other then the UI, and this scaling thing I am very pleased with this R9 380.

Both displays are set at 1920X1080

This is probably a pretty tricky one to answer as I doubt most of us try to mess with settings like what you're aiming to achieve. Try here at the amd community & GL.

Thanks I will check it out. I put waterfall displays on the big screen to detect weak signals when I am operating my radio gear. This display is spectacular on a big screen

Isn't that supposed to be for Rx 480/470 cards ?
