Lenovo doesn't have any Windows 10 drivers for T500 line to this moment; neither do ATI and AMD. My anger really is at Windows 10 - an update breaks something that worked before, and that is a no no in any line of works.

16.9.2 shows up as a non-whql driver. 16.7.3 appears to be the latest whql version?

It's just hotfix, it doesn't change WHQL status of previous driver.

If that's the case, it only confuses people by adding the prefix non_whql to the file download!

Yeah, confusion galore! Some file naming is utterly ridiculous.

The latest Windows 10 Pro feature updates disabled my ThinkPad T500's dual display ATI card. The dual display or extended display using Intel and ATI cards worked well before this update. After this feature update, in the Device Manager the ATI driver has a little yellow warning flag, the properties reads that Windows has stopped this ATI card (Code 43). It worked well before in Windows 10 Pro, why now?

I was told that I need updated display driver for ATI Mobile HD 3650 but it is not on the list of ATI's latest driver release/update.
Uninstalled the ATI driver this morning, rebooted my T500 laptop a few times to let the Windows 10 process to pick updates. And wala, a driver is installed properly and now I have my dual displays working again.

I checked the ATI display driver's properties info and it shows the driver date as 1/13/2015. I think it was the Windows 10 updating process was messed up by stopping the driver working in the first place.

I uninstalled the ATI driver this morning and rebooted my T500 laptop a few times to let the Windows update process picking up and install the display driver. This time it worked! It installed an ATI driver with the release date of 1/13/2015 and now my dual displays are working again.

Looking back, I think it was the Windows 10 update process that made the mess up - it stopped the working ATI driver for no good reason. And I did not need an update driver for the ATI Mobility HD 3650 display card.
