Thanks but I've tried each of the selections in the AV input list. I've managed to upload 2 photos of the tv inputs

ok, so theres no specific HDMI-port for PC use - doesnt really matter, it wouldve only had the correct specs for your PC but you can should be still able to show it on your pc. TV.

now, what @CountMike said - check the TV menu for your input to see if theres gaming mode or something similar for that certain HDMI-input. if not you might have to wait another HDMI-cable to test the system.

Get another cable, absolutely essential to have spares of such cables for testing purposes. The quality of these things is 'variable'.
Also visually check each Plug/Socket, carefully clean out dust.

    Your connections look correct.
With my TVs it is as simple as connecting the HDMI, it auto selects the input.

I've just tried the same cable going from my Virgin Tivo box into my TV, selected HDMI from the AV menu & it works perfectly. So there's no problem with the cable.

Is there some Windows setting that I need to change so that my pc knows it needs to output thru it's HDMI port?
