GTX 1060 Will only output 3 monitors.

    Hi Guys,

    System specs:
    GTX 1060 Will only output 3 monitors.-image.png

    Monitors:
    4x 25" LG Ultrawide IPS Full-HD Monitor - 25UM58-P 2560 x 1080

I am trying to run the 4 LG monitors from the GPU using 3x DP1.2-HDMI and 1x HDMI-HDMI.

I am currently unable to achieve any output from the one same DP port when using the DP to HDMI adaptor. When using a DP-DP cable the port works fine. All the other DP ports work fine with the adaptor.

I have gone through all the basic configurations trying different monitors, different cables and different amounts of monitors connected. You would have thought that the port was fried but it works fine with a DP to DP cable.

I have checked in the BIOS to ensure that Booting from a PCIe expansion is set to legacy (As some other people have said this has fixed their issue).

Slight backstory: I originally had HDMI to Display port 1.1 cables which also had the same issue. I had to purchase new DP 1.2 cables as the 1.1 cables would not output at the desired output 2560x1080. To get any output from the DP cables i needed to change the PCIe Lanes to Gen3 from Auto.

    Thanks for your time.

I think you may have to use these:

I have a GTX1060 and it does have 4 of these type ports.
