Windows 10: screen resolution
i dont know whats wrong with my screen resolution but the actual screen is fine but when i open software such as Microsoft or dr java everything is so small
This is happening because you have a super HD display and dr java is written in smaller resolution
You can use this method
Tell Windows to look for an external manifest file:
Press Windows Button + R, type “regedit”, and then click OK.
Navigate to the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows >\CurrentVersion \SideBySide
Right-click, select NEW > DWORD (32 bit) Value
Type PreferExternalManifest, and then press ENTER.
Right-click PreferExternalManifest, and then click Modify.
Enter Value Data 1 and select Decimal.
Click OK. Exit Registry Editor.
Create manifest file for DrJava:
Navigate to your Drjava folder (eg: D:\Drjava)
If you have standalone Drjava rename the same to Drjava
Create a new text file named Drjava.exe.manifest as attached
Copy and paste the manifest file there.
I just installed window 10.
The screen resolution is so low I can hardly see the text.
I tried to change the screen resolution like I did with windows 8.1.
But it doesn't change like Windows 8.1..
How can I change it?
Sorry if this has been asked and answered before (if it has can anyone direct me to the solution)
Right then, I took advantage to "upgrade" from W7 to W10, everything went well except that the screen displays at a wider angle than it should i.e....
I'm running windows 10 on an ASUS Desktop computer with a GeForce GTX650. I dual monitor with a Samsung monitor and Samsung Plasma television. even though both devices are set to 1920x1080 (I've checked, repeatedly, and included screenshots) yet...
Why did the screen resolution on my LG23a63 LED monitor, which is a 1920x1080, a perfect picture, drop back to 1280x1080? With that resolution screen looks terrible, Updated video card and monitor drivers to no avail.
Thanks to all that answered...
