Gets close to the Titan XP but not quite there... should hopefully be a lot cheaper though

Is going to be around $800 - $900. Going to wait for AMD rival graphics card to make NVIDIA drop the prices on their new graphics card.

So no thank you NVIDIA :).

Guru 3D is stating that data on the 1080 TI could be fake.

Fake or not and if and when a 1080 TI comes out I'd be very interested to see the pricing as well. $895 CDN is what I paid for the FTW 1080. Including sales tax that is $957 and that's the lowest price I've seen since the 1080 came out. That $895 CDN is now $930. Low supply and high demand.

I believe AMD's planned Vega release is January-June 2017. That may be the time when we see a 1080TI. Or maybe we will see Nvida's Volta instead (May?) with HBM2 to match Vega. Lot's of fun!

Personally I'm very happy with the EVGA FTW 1080 and won't have a need for something else for quite awhile, being a 1080P gamer. And PS: that $957 price was hard enough to swallow, never mind pricing on a TI or something else.

PPS: I think many (even Nvidia fans) would be disappointed with a higher priced Pascal (ie 1080TI) if it didn't have HBM2.
