    Blurry Extended Display

    Hi,

Currently I'm using an MSI GL62 6QD laptop with a resolution of 1920x1080. I have an external monitor I have just connected today (Dell 2407WFP-HC) at a resolution of 1920x1200, I am using it as an extended display.

Now the problem is that when this monitor is connected, anything displayed on the monitor is slightly blurry, even though the resolution is correct. I was lead to believe this is a problem with the DPI, so I tried using the Windows DPI scaling option (100%, 125%, etc) and encountered another problem. It says "A custom scale factor is set" - I have tried turning this off however it persists each time I reboot my machine, leading me to believe this is causing the problem - however I am unsure.

It should be noted that when I bought this machine I used a small piece of 3rd party software which fixes the blurry text on some Windows 10 applications, and I have turned it off recently to see if this helps but I think this may have something to do with this problem. The software is called "XPExplorer", the link is here: http://windows10_dpi_blurry_fix.xpexplorer.com/

    Thanks,

    Mangasp

is this problem fixed? if so, how did you fix it? :)
its been reported that this monitor has overscan issues which causes blurry/fuzziness in the picture even the resolution is correct
