I have an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, and I have an update downloading for it that was released 1/30/2015 if WU is to be believed but I cannot see which version this update is supposed to be. I have had graphic card updates fail a lot in Win10 so will update on how this goes.
*Update NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT does not seem to be new enough to be included in this update. Win7 is the latest OS it supports. bummer...

I noticed a bit of an FPS increase with my 970 in GTA V after installing these. However, Geforce Experience seems to hang a lot on my system.
I'm running 10074 and have a GTX 670 - yet the driver fails to install saying that neither the OS nor the video card are supported.
I installed this driver today on Insider Build 10074. The first attempt ended with a BSOD. The second attempt kept bringing up the start menu then going to a black screen and then coming back to the install. The occred 3 toimes during the install. Much of the same thing happens when I try to play a Game. MS better come out with a new build soon.
Microsoft's own products do not even work in this build. I use MS Wireless KB 3000 and Mouse 5000 and they will not even install. Make you kind of wonder how other vendors product will work when their own do not.
Display resolution problem solved but...
[QUOTE=Brink;231659]Build 10074 display drivers do not support the native resolution of my Acer monitor and the displays and window positioning were odd and inaccurate, e.g. oval circles. I tried to update the drivers for the monitor and graphics card but Windows said the best drivers were already installed. Surfing for an answer I came across this forum and thread and used the link provided to automatically detect the nVIDIA graphics card installed and update the driver. The native resolution is now supported and the circles are round again! As part of the process I installed Piriform Speccy to get hardware details of my computer. This worked OK until I updated the nVIDIA driver and now the system crashes on a page error when I try to run Speccy. Not sure if Speccy is the problem. I will try uninstalling it to see what happens and report back.
Report: Uninstalled and re-installed Speccy and problem has gone away... fingers crossed.

With yesterday's Windows Update they now work.
Using Wireless KB 5000 and Mouse 5000 all the way through since 9926 and now on 10074 with no issues.
As did I until 10074 but maybe because I was on Windows 7 and you were on 8.1 so your drivers may have been different.? Does not really matter now.

I went to the NVidia site, but all the drivers that show are for Linux. I tried searching for Windows, but none turned up.
This is for an HP dv9700 laptop PC that's over five years old.
Anyone got an URL for the proper site?
After installing Windows 10 Home on 2 computers, I have found that the graphics drivers are having trouble updating.
Can someone assist me on fixing this?
Will check back in the morning.
I just completed a dirty install of Win10 (10074) on top of Win8.1. I would have done a clean install but I was hoping not to have to reinstall all my Steam content. Looks like I'm going to have to do a clean install to solve this, but on the off...
anyone have a good driver for this slightly older vista-era laptop?
the machine is a HP DV9917CL.
I have it running with the old HP vista 64 driver. it works pretty good but I get some flashes and blackouts on certain aero functions .
