Nah, clocks appear to be normal, so it's likely just a cosmetic issue with these drivers, thankfully.

Missing PhysX indicator in GPUz for GTX980TI is now fixed in 378.77, was supposed to have been fixed in the last driver but wasn't.

Debug mode is still on and locked for me on my 1080. Anyone else seeing that on their Pascal card?

Hmm...odd. Even with another DDU and clean install, it's still stuck on for me. Not seeing any performance issues, though, so no big deal.

Are you running your own OC on the card or maybe changed something with NV inspector/Afterburner? If yes, I would set everything back to EVGA default clocks. Also, FYI I updated with just an Nvidia clean install and it worked fine.

Other than that the only difference I see between yours and my situation is I don't have an insider build.

I do have a pretty decent OC on the card, and have custom profiles in Inspector. This is on my Anniversary Update machine.

I figure if I'm not seeing any issues, I'm not gonna worry about it. If I do start seeing issues, I'll just jump back to the last WHQL driver.

Have you heard the talk about the next Nvidia WHQL driver to be released? It would seem indeed Nvidia has been working on driver optimization for the 1080TI release. Rumors have been going around that a "performance" driver (especially Direct X12) is coming. Not sure if it affects only Pascal cards. But Manual G on the Guru 3D forums just confirmed that these changes will come in the next Game Ready Driver.

Should have an impact on games like ROTTR, GOW4, Hitman. And Dude better get ready for all the OC/benchmark junkies rerunning Time Spy. :)

Thanks for the heads up on that specialkone, however I take the 16% performance uplift with a pinch of salt :)

Ditto. I'll believe it when I see the benchmark numbers.

Some are guessing it will be out early next week, in line with the Ghost Recon release, which I believe is Tuesday.

I'm cautiously optimistic, but DX12 has been a bit underwhelming thus far, especially considering how much it was hyped up to be a massive improvement.

Last time I fired up ROTTR, I still got better framerates and frametimes running it in DX11 mode than DX12.
