But DDU was working with no issues before. I just tried 17.0.3.0 and same thing. It boots into safe mode, cleans the old driver and when it reboots into normal mode, (with supposedly Windows updates blocked), as soon as it hits the desktop Windows installs a driver before I can manually install the latest driver. The driver Windows installs is 372.90.

It appears that a new GeForce hotfix driver v375.76 has been released today but it's not showing in the Nvidia advanced search.
The only link I've seen is this so treat with caution. GeForce Hot Fix driver version 375.76 | NVIDIA

Install of 375.76 was uneventful and so far every thing seems fine.
Now for a few hours of gaming as that is my true test of stability.

I've installed it and see how it goes. It isn't WHQL though. UAC reared it's little head during install.

375.76

This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 375.76 that addresses the following:

Fixes occasional flicker on high refresh rate monitors & fixes artifacts in GIFs

only seems to affect 10 series cards no one with 9 series and below have had any issues , ive not noticed anything running 165hz
