It is in my spec's .....but I only run Windows 10 Pro. Actually have it installed on 4 computers. But only 2 are hooked up to the internet. :)
Sorry Mike, I had already read your System Specs. I meant what is the exact build of Windows Pro that you are running? I'm feeling that DDU could be screwing up due to some change in the OS.

Same as me then. I'll have to await Wagnards reply. Could be a while as he's moving house at the moment but he's hoping to push out a new build of DDU in the next few days.

I think perhaps Mike didn't have the problem because his systems (at least two) weren't hooked up to the internet. That might stop Windows from quickly updating the driver.

Nope....the computers not hooked up, I did not upgrade, they are like spares. Just laying on the floor. :)

    Oh, ok.

So we all have the same Windows version, the same DDU version, we are all doing the same thing, BUT we get different results.

    I think it's time for a

Well, just for more data, I used DDU in safe mode with network connected this time. Did not have the problem.
Windows version 14393.351, pro 64 bit. However I use something else I've not seen mentioned on the forum. It's a 3rd party reg hack called O&OShutup. I have everything Microsoft runs to call home shutoff including W/U's automatic driver updates. I looked in Windows system 32 as well as windows syswow64 and found only 375.70 files. So, maybe it isn't DDU.

    DDU Updated to version v17.0.3.0

Just to add I have been using DDU with no I'll effects on my systems since I can remember.
Very rarely do I ever have any problems with the Nvidia drivers.
This may also be because I unpack them and then cancel the install.
Then I go in the Nvidia folder and delete everything except the actual Nvidia driver before I install.

    Peace Wanna

I've never had any problems with DDU no mater which version I've used. Or what version of Nvidia I was removing. I only run DDU in safe mode also. :)

I'm having problems using DDU (latest version) with the 375 drivers as well. After it cleans the old drivers in safe mode and reboots, Windows 10 automatically and immediately installs a driver..
If you open 'Advanced System Properties' and check under the 'Hardware' tab you'll find the 'Device Installation Settings' wherein you can choose to not 'automatically download manufacturers' apps'. Just a thought ...
