I posted this issue on the Geforce forums.

Why do I get a feeling this is an SLI issue. Anyone else experiencing this, single card or SLI? A little info for you, Microsoft. I was using Edge most of the time now have been back to IE the last month or so. This is why.

It could be. I just watched an hour long video on Youtube on the new drivers without a single driver crash.

Ah figures. More so lately, multi GPU is really starting to feel like a couple of bad wisdom teeth to me. I'll be PULLING my 770's hopefully soon.

PS: the crashing is mostly on exiting the app (you tube) or even when tabbing from Microsoft Edge to Outlook.

    Thanks.

I rolled back a version, because I was getting the same issue with SLI. Constant crash and recovery watching videos and movies. Not even youtube. Just movies on my computer with the Movies & Tv app.

Thanks hamnat. That confirms it. More MGPU/SLI issues, not just gaming. Wonder if this is happening only with Windows 10 SLI users.

Wish someone at NCIX would push the shipped button on my EVGA FTW 1080. Field of Dreams "ease his pain". Oh, wait, can't watch any clips from that movie on my PC. "Display driver will stop working". LOL.

The funny thing is I haven't had a single issue playing hours of Wither 3: Blood and Wine expansion this week since Tuesday. But normal stuff like watching videos crash every 3 minutes even with the rolled back driver. I was offshore for 21 days so I didn't have a problem at all before I left but as soon as I installed the new drivers, both the last 2 versions basically.

Witcher 3 is one of the few games that runs beautifully in SLI. For Kepler owners, it wasn't at the beginning. Kepler owners were complaining so much that is when Nvidia put out their Kepler fix.

If you are into FPS games, suggest you watch for Battlefield 1when it comes out and look for SLI feedback. DICE is another of the few devs that cares about PC gamers and MGPU. Their new Frostbite engine might even support DX12 from the ground up.

For me, still waiting for that GOW MGPU patch (way past my time tolerance level), Doom - Nvidia has tried to force it with a profile but it needs to be implemented at the dev side (with Vulcan maybe) - still waiting and I suspect proper MGPU support in games going forward will be few and far between and/or require long waits after release.

I've been a MGPU gamer (both Nvidia/ATI) from way back. I'm done with it. With both DX11 and 12 out there, DX12 just seems to be complicating things. I doubt my decision will bother Nvidia. That CDN price of the one 1080 is almost exactly the same as what I paid for TWO new 770's a couple of years back. LOL.
