They seemed to have fixed the mouse cursor issues.

However my original install from the Nvidia site was custom installed without 3d drivers as I don't need, want or have a 3d capable monitor. This update has given me 3d back.

I hope when W10 is final they don't keep sending out these updates for every driver released by Nvidia as often the only changes are to support new cards or new games, which I am very unlikely to own.
If you want to do a clean install of the drivers, you can grab the .cab file directly from MS here: http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/...ac7f1c4154.cab

Just use 7zip or something to unpack it, and then run the setup. It'll give you the options then to uncheck stuff like 3DVision and HD Audio.

Those latest drivers made my Nvidia GTX 760 goto in Oblivion setup as Microsoft adapter, so I uninstalled them and went back to 353.30.

Did you go the Windows Update route, or did you uninstall your drivers first and then install them?

When I installed win 10 I used the drivers I downloaded from nvidia myself (353.30), the update came down through WU. I launched nvidia experience panel and it was going to download the original I installed again.

having a big problem with windows 10 updates. the driver for my gtx 660 that windows installs as an update is not working.
i install 353.30 and it works fine. but the real problem i have is that windows keeps rolling back the drivers on me.
and i have to reinstall 353.30 every day. does anybody have this same problem? is their a way to disable driver updates?

I checked that box myself, to avoid having Windows Update re-install 353.30 over the newer non-WHQL releases.

I just checked the installed version and found that WU has installed 353.62 and wants a reboot. The checkbox that is supposed to prevent automatic driver updates is still checked.

    Your mileage may vary.

Attempting to get this update through WU gets stuck at 0% then returns an error. Rebooting and checking device manager shows that I have the driver, but without Nvidia control panel. Extracting and running the setup file from the above returns an error saying I have no compatible graphics hardware.
