No, GeForce probably does no harm, I just don't want it. Good enough reason to wait.

The driver, sure. GeForce also runs fine. My point is I do not want GeForce installed on my machine. I don't need it or want it. Especially when it's force fed.

What is force fed, you just download and install the GeForce driver you want. The only thing that will force feed it is GFE and I never have that installed

The downloaded driver for manually installing will not let me uncheck the option for GeForce during a custom install. That's force fed. No option not to take it. Never been like that before. Faith posted a note from them stating they are aware and have pulled the driver from mainstream downloading.

I just installed it the way I always do, a manual minimal install. I takes me around three minutes to do the prep work before installing which I don't consider a large overhead to get what I want. Currently I'm running the graphics driver and Physx and that's all.
I do agree with what you are saying though as most users will just double click the install file and expect it to do what they want if they do a custom install and deselct stuff.

Because I just don't know, is a manual minimal install the same as Custom install unchecking what you don't want? Sorry, really, I just do not know.
